WHO WE ARE
The Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance (CIPG) is an American professional body that seeks to develop capacities of global leaders with focus on promoting the principles that fosters Good Governance and peaceful co-existence of societies. CIPG is established to collaborate with various world Governments , UN Agencies and other Diplomatic Missions to support the mandates of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
CIPG is governed by the Supreme Order of International Peace and Governance Council (IPGC) consisting of High ranking personalities and professionals who are experts in various fields informing the general public of the activities, importance and values of the United Nations.

Our Membership
We are committed to supporting professionals throughout their careers. Our membership benefits and continuing professional development scheme help our members stay at the top of their game.

Applicants will be assessed on their education, training, knowledge, skill and experience (K.S.E.) and responsibility. The CIPG places great emphasis on lifelong learning through continuous professional development and our core differentiation of our members being Peace advocates and leaders.The grading structure gives a clear path for members to progress through our grades to enhance their career aspirations and a points based system is used for this purpose.

We recognize degrees earned at recognized universities that are relevant to both management and a potential member’s specialism. A professional membership diploma is issued to members as visible evidence of commitment and professionalism. Members are also entitled to use the appropriate designatory letters after their name on business cards, letter headings, etc.

Mentoring
The CIPG encourages our successful and established FELLOWs to help others earlier in their careers through becoming a Mentor. Those wishing to become a Mentor should provide CIPG with a brief synopsis of their experience and skills for publication on a private page on the website to match with potential Mentees.

Publications
The Business Specialist is issued free to members every year. The E-Journal keeps members informed about what is happening within the Institute and contains articles of interest to specialists. Members are encouraged to share their knowledge by writing articles for publication. Our Partner Institutions include
