UNIPGC Donates 300,000rwf to Support more than 100 less privileged people for Community Based Health Insurance in Nyabihu District, Jomba Sector, Rwanda

The Management of UNIPGC AFRICA located in Rwanda Gasabo District , in its mission to contribute to the acceleration of Peace, Good Governance and Poverty Eradication across the globe (2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development - ECOSSOC Resolution 2015/16), and as in their activity as social work , United Internation Peace and Governance Council Of Africa(UNIPGC AFRICA) paid Community Based Health Insurance (Mutuelle de santé) for more than 100 people in Nyabihu District, Jomba Sector, Rwanda.

Community Based Health Insurance (Mutuelle de santé) is a solidarity health insurance system in which persons (families) come together and pay contributions for the purpose of protection and receipt of medical care. It was established in order to help people with low income have access to medical care at affordable cost.

The Executive Secretary of Jomba Sector in Nyabihu District Mr.Tebuka Jean Paul G gave an appreciation remark about the funds donated by UNIPGC AFRICA ,
According to ES Jomba, "the three hundred thousand contribution for us we consider it as three million Rwandan francs, hence The funds is well received. ,This will help our community who are not able to afford medical care because of UNIPGC AFRICA;), we thank you so much. He added.

Mr. Rwamasunzu Patrick, the Country Director of UNIPGC RWANDA who was at the event also thank The District of Nyabihu and Jomba Sector for the warm reception. He appreciated Rwanda *Government for good leadership by H.E President Paul Kagame who is Rwanda President* for ensuring peace ,security and also for good governance, This initiative encourages everyone to participate in the country development in different ways including ensuring wellbeing of every Rwandese citizen.

Rwamasunzu Patrick said "toward realization of UNIPGC AFRICA'S mission and vision , we shall continue advocating peace everywhere and continue various humanitarian work, we shall keep fighting for poverty reduction by supporting poor and help them get out from poverty through different project which UNIPGC AFRICA has embarked implementing in Rwanda."

Rwamasunzu Patrick also appreciated H.E Amb Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, the Acting Global President of IPGC & CIPG (USA) for his contribution in AFRICA and particularly supporting the mission in Rwanda for Humanitarian services.

Mr Patrick congratulated him for this new appointment of Acting Global President IPGC & CIPG (USA) which was bestowed on him by 2/3 of the Supreme Council.
