The UNIPGC PEACE LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (PLS)Program provides scholarships to African girls and women to foster global peace through education. PLS recipients carry the spirit of Sustainable Peace Building back to their home countries where the certificates they have earned positively impact people’s lives around the globe.

The PLS initiative stems from the vision of the UNIPGC Global President, His Excellency, Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah , when he introduced a resolution for Peace Education scholarship at the 2025 Convention of the Supreme Chapter.
His resolution was adopted by the MATRON, Her Excellency, Chief Dr Jewel Howard Taylor, the former Vice President of Liberia to support the initiative through the JEWEL H. TAYLOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM as she envisage that supporting women's education has a ripple effect, positively impacting their lives and the world around us.



The PLS scholarships provide more than just educational scholarship ; Recipients are often surprised by the non-tangible benefits of the scholarship,

Eligibility and Application Process

Registration is $50 usd Only...

The eligibility and registration period is February 20th - Feb. 30th, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

A woman is eligible for consideration for the International Peace Leadership Scholarship if she:
* Is within the Age of 22 - 35
* is a woman from Africa.
* will return to her home country or community to utilize her education to make a positive impact and foster global peace.

A student who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada is not eligible.
A student in any Tertiary Institution in Africa is permitted.
Scholarships are not given for online courses and research.

First batch of Lecture begins from April 2nd to April 4th, 2025

Venue:Nigerian Institute Of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria .

Presentation of Certificates: April 5th, 2025.
